Program Description

Tailor-made for lovers of Taiji and the Chinese language, this course focuses on language learning and takes Taiji training as a supplement. Several excursions inside and outside Beijing will allow the participant to study traditional Chinese culture and Chinese martial arts, through trips to the birthplaces of martial arts as well as many other historic sites.

  • The standard set of Chen-style Taijiquan;
  • Three lectures on culture and various interchanges of Taiji;
  • Excursions to four famous cultural and historic resorts;

Class Hours

80 class hours for Chinese; 30 for Taiji training and cultural lectures


Visits &Language field trip (outside Beijing)

Three excursions in Beijing for Taiji training and sightseeing; a 2-day trip outside, including visits to the Shaolin Temple, the Longmen Grottoes, and the Chenjiagou Village in Henan Province � birthplace of Chen-style Taijiquan.

Tuition fee (RMB 10800) includes tuition, textbooks, Taiji suit, visits, language field trip and 34 nights accommodation (twin room, per person).

    Graduation certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization.
